K/KS needle roller bearings and cage assemblies are independent bearing units in which the needle rollers are precisely guided by a cage. These bearings have no rings, feature a small radial cross-section, and provide high load-carrying capacity. They are suitable for support structures where radial installation space is limited.

The surface hardness is generally HRC 58–64, with a hardened layer depth of 0.6–1 mm.
